The Best Places to Get Engaged in St. Louis
Picking the perfect proposal location is almost as important as picking the perfect ring! St. Louis is a fun and vibrant city with many proposal-worthy locations. Here are my top recommendations.
Missouri Botanical Garden
There are a myriad of beautiful spots to propose in at the botanical garden. A few favorites include the Chinese Garden, the Japanese Garden and the Rose Garden. They’re all so romantic!
As St. Louisans, Forest Park is woven into the fabric of our upbringing. Some great proposal spots would be in front of the Grand Basin, on a paddle boat at dusk or even in the zoo with your favorite animal as a witness.
If you love the theater, then the Fabulous Fox is a perfect location for you! This stunning theater dates back to 1928 and is certainly a landmark in St. Louis. With its cavernous ceiling and impressive decorations, the lobby proves a grand spot for a proposal.
Are you a part of Cardinal Nation? Then a Cardinals game proposal is a very fun choice for your proposal. Spring for the Green Seats and wait for the seventh inning stretch. Or take a knee in front of the Stan Musial statue. Either way, your Cardinals fan will be sure to say yes.
The Arch is St. Louis’s most popular landmark. It sits grandly on the Mississippi riverfront and welcomes visitors to town. Proposing under the Arch is a story for the ages and offers some fantastic photo opportunities for capturing the special moment.
Nestled in Chesterfield, Faust Park is a gorgeous place to propose. The Carousel dates back to 1920 and offers a vintage, whimsical setting.
Old St. Charles
Main Street in St. Charles offers a glimpse of the past with its cobblestone streets and original buildings dating back to the birth of Missouri. Take a romantic carriage ride down the street and pop the question with a bottle of Champagne on ice.
Wherever you choose to pop the question, your proposal will be a very special moment for you both.
