The ’70s, Suede and Mixed Metals

By  |

Bohemian style, full steam ahead! This spring, Pucci’s signature bold patterns are back in strong floral prints (think Georgia O’Keefe meets Andy Warhol) and feminine touches of soft suede. Flowing fabrics and loose-fitting styles will take center stage for the boho evening look, but what I am most excited for is the jewelry trends coming straight off the runway—especially MIXED METALS!

We have been taught that one of the most egregious fashion faux pas is to mix metals. Well, folks, that rule is OUT! Not only do I like to mix metals, I like to mix textures to make even more of a statement. I’m currently obsessed with my tri-tone rings purchased here at Shane Co. The 1mm bands look great between the first and second knuckle and the quality 14k gold stands up to daily wear.

Mixing metals allows you to broaden your options and really give your style a more personal touch. Combine mixed metals with other current trends like layered necklaces or even stackable rings and bangles! With the selection offered here at Shane Co., the possibilities are truly endless.

For your viewing pleasure, I’ve snapped a photo of some of my personal faves (which were recently added to my Wish List)!

What are your favorite trends and how will you be sporting them this spring?

Courtney first worked at Shane Co. from 2010 to 2012 and then returned to the Shane Co. family in October 2014 as a Diamond Consultant. Her favorite part about working for Shane Co. is the company culture and being around people who truly love what they do. When she is not playing with diamonds, Courtney enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog. She is also an abstract painter.
