DENVER, COLORADO – January 28, 2012– Shane Co., the largest privately-held jeweler in the United States, today announced that it has moved its St. Louis, MO-area store to a new location in the metro area, at 9643 Olive Blvd., Olivette, MO, 63132, between I-270 and I-170, east of Lindbergh. The new store opened for business on January 27, replacing the previous location in Brentwood, MO.
“We didn’t just relocate. We built an entirely new jewelry store unlike any other,” said Tom Shane, owner of Shane Co. “This is the largest retailer jewelry store in the Midwest. We now have room to display many more of our exclusive bridal and fashion jewelry than was possible in our previous location.”
“The moment our customers walk in, they are amazed at what a jewelry store can be, with a comfortable, no-pressure experience that no other jeweler offers,” said Rordan Shane, Tom Shane’s son who works alongside his father as executive vice president.
“With our new central location, Shane Co. is now more convenient than ever to get to,” Rordan Shane said. “Customers who had been to our previous location will also appreciate our new store’s easy accessibility from Olive Blvd. and our spacious parking lot.”
Tom Shane noted that the relocation comes at an ideal time with Valentine’s Day approaching. “We have a huge Valentine’s Day collection of exclusive jewelry styles,” said Shane. “Our customers come to Shane Co. from all over the region for our unique styles, direct diamond importer prices, Free Lifetime Warranty and non-commission salespeople. We are excited to provide all of these benefits in our beautiful new store as they shop for Valentine’s Day gifts.”
Among the store’s features are flat panel TV screens showing educational content about jewelry, behind-the-scenes videos about how Shane Co. buys its gemstones and designs and creates jewelry in its own facility, and profiles of Shane Co. salespeople; educational displays about jewelry and gemstones; a large diamond viewing area where customers can examine and compare diamonds in natural light; and a customer lounge area with flat panel TV.
